Texas Longhorns Veterans Recognition Game

In honor of the Texas Longhorns Veterans Recognition game against the Kansas State Wildcats on Nov 4th, Institute Director, Dr. Elisa Borah, was invited to serve as honorary captain for the game’s coin toss. Joining Dr. Borah in this honor was General James Rainey, commander of U.S. Army Futures Command.
Before the game, the Institute participated in the UT Veterans Appreciation Tailgate at the Steve Hicks School of Social Work. While the tailgate was open to all interested in attending, it was meant to honor veterans, service members, friends, and their families.
