Equipping communities with proven programs and supports
New Report Sheds Light on the Wellness of Military and Veteran Spouses
We’re proud to release the findings from the Military & Veteran Spouse Wellness Survey (MVSWS)—the first national survey exploring the multifaceted wellness of military-connected spouses across both active-duty and veteran communities. Our team conducted this research in partnership with InDependent. This innovative research draws on insights from over 1,100 respondents, offering a comprehensive look at how well-being shows up in real-life contexts across the eight dimensions of wellness. By better understanding the lived experiences and wellness needs of military and veteran spouses, we can design stronger programs, build more responsive support systems, and create connected networks that truly reflect and serve this community.

The survey findings were first presented during ENGAGE @ AFA: Wellness on the Homefront, a special data release event held in collaboration with the Air & Space Forces Association United Forces and Families. The event featured a fireside chat, panel discussions, and breakout sessions that brought together leaders across sectors to explore actionable strategies rooted in these new findings.
