Equipping communities with proven programs and supports
Rachel Hernandez received her Bachelor’s in Social Work from the University of Nevada, Reno. During her time in Reno, she helped run a food pantry dedicated to supporting unhoused veterans, which sparked her passion for advocacy within this community. Following this, she worked as a case manager and VA benefits specialist for unhoused veterans and their families.
Rachel currently serves as the Program Coordinator for the Veteran Spouse Program, where she helps manage various support groups aimed at empowering veteran spouses.
